Question : unable to ftp 800mb file from New York to CA solaris 2.6 server

i have a client who is attempting to ftp a file to our office.
the ftp server they are connecting to is a solaris 2.6.
the client is able to transfer around 450mb then the ftp process closes.

> Netout :Software caused connection abort
Connection closed by remote host.
ftp> ls -ltr
Not connected

what could this be... it continues to happen.

This is firewall problem.
Use rsync over ssh if you are unable to fix firewall.
