Question : Adobe Illustrator. How to smooth vector selections.

Hi. I am converting scalar images to vector in Adobe illustrator. The results are very jagged with a myriad of anchor points. Can anyone suggest a method to smooth out the rough edges. Thanx

This may help -

Select the path/object that has the jagged edges.

Go to Object/Path/Simplify and you can smooth out your path. You can even preview your changes on the fly to see how your changes are affecting the image.
