Question : SQL SERVER 2000 Restore Question  -  2 family members

Hi,

I am trying to restore this database and its giving me this error:

Microsoft SQL-DMO (ODBC SQLState: 42000)

The media set for database 'prod' has 2 family members but only 1 are provided.  All members must be provided.
RESTORE DATABASE is terminating abnormally.
---------------------------
OK  
---------------------------

I just have one .bak file and I am trying to restore it, any ideas how to get around this error?

Answer : SQL SERVER 2000 Restore Question  -  2 family members

It looks as if, when you created the backup, you had two selected. That happens if you decide to select a backup location and do not delete the default location.

Do another backup.
