Question : An embedded image in a Reporting Services subreport doesn't display in the main report

Hi!
   I have an SSRS 2005 report that contains a table with certain columns that have interactive sorting.  At the top of the report there is a subreport that contains an embedded image (a company logo).  When I first run the report, the image in the subreport displays.  But, when I sort the table interactively, the image turns into a red asterisk inside a white box.  When I click the 'refresh' button, the image redisplays correctly.  This is occurring in the Visual Studio 2005 Report Designer when you preview the report.  I believe I have the most current version of Visual Studio.  I'm not sure what to do about this.  Any suggestions?

Answer : An embedded image in a Reporting Services subreport doesn't display in the main report

I can replicate you problem exactly (following your instructions) when in BIDS, but when I deploy the same report to the server it all works perfectly.

My versions are:
  Development: Visual Studio 2005 (8.0.50727.879)
  Server: Win2k3 R2 SP2, SQL 2005 Enterprise SP2 (9.00.3054.00)

Does yours fail on the server?
