Question : Reverse proxy from Squid port 443 to Websphere port 9080

Hi,
I'm having some problems with redirects.
When WAS redirects a request it passes the port 9080 to Squid which gives the browser the wrong URL, ex:
I call https://server.company.com and I get in the address bar http://server.company.com:9080/

Can anyone help
Thanks

Answer : Reverse proxy from Squid port 443 to Websphere port 9080

I searched around and it seems that Squid really can't do this.  I have seen where you might be able to use the location_rewrite helper for Squid to do this.

However I would strongly suggest that use IBM's HTTP server and the WebSphere plugin for it.

IBM's HTTP server is really just a customized Apache, the WebSphere plugin will take care of all of the re-writes and re-directs.
