Question : Windows update failure (Security Update for SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 2

I am experiencing a failure in windows update program for the program:
Security Update for SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 2 (KB954606)

My system is a Dell Precision M70 Laptop.

Can any one help?

It is complaining about the inability to start and stop services in the logs, instead of setting them to "disabled" set them to "manual" and try again

if that doesn't work, my understanding is that you have the recourse of contacting Microsoft directly for free about this issue.
