Question : Dragging down formula from a cell in Excel
If I have 2 columns of data, how can I drag down the formula in the second column without just clicking in the cell and dragging it down in order for column 2 to be at the same level as the 1st column?
From last cell in column 1, one across, then hold down shift, click up arrow, holding shift, down once, hit return (which selects first blank cell, then =cell above.
this drags down the value, but not the formula - any way of doing it?
Answer : Dragging down formula from a cell in Excel
You can also just move the mouse pointer to the bottom right corner of the first formula cell in column 2 and double-click to fill down.
