Question : displaying the count of records in the form

hi
please find the 2 screens attached.
I would like to implement the functionality highlited in screen1 (attached) in the red boxes which is displaying the count of the records and the record numbers in my other form which is attached as screen 2
I dont want to use the default navigation buttons property provided by Access.
Please help
