what is the limit creating a directory recursively in Windows XP?

There must be a limit. What is that limit in Windows XP...Is there a limitation of the name length of directories (one directory or the limitation of total path size)...

I don't believe there is a limit on subfolders but I can't find anything that states that... what I found was the maximum path length
Maximum path length
An absolute path may be up to 32767 characters[35] long; a relative path is limited to 255 characters.
