Question : Device Manager is Blank
My speakers stop working and I believe a sound card driver was uninstalled. I went to the Device manager to see what the sound card is and there is nothing listed at all, for anything. System is windows XP Pro.
I am logged in as administrator.
Answer : Device Manager is Blank
goto start>run>regedit and open this folder

look in the right pane for the ImagePath key and make sure that its value is set to
%SystemRoot%\system32\serv
ices.exe
