Question : CD Boot On Lan

I have currently a computer that have not DVD Drive and I want to Install an OS from a DVD from another computer from a LAN ...is it possible??
(ie boot an installation cd from a lan)

Computer DVD's can run CD software.
Insert the OS CD into the DVD, share the DVD drive.
Locate the setup.exe file from the OS CD and run.
Another method is to use a free program called VNC.
The setup is easy and it allows you to log in to a pc remotely.
