Question : Pin Internet Shortcut to Start Menu?

I know you can pin normal shortcuts to the Start Menu, but it doesn't seem to allow me to do this for Internet shortcuts.  Is there any way around this?

(Please don't suggest adding Favorites to the Start Menu - I don't want to do this)

Make it a .lnk file (Shortcut) that references your browser (eg Firefox, IE) with the desired website as a parameter.  That should pin to the start menu fine.

EXAMPLE (IE):
  - Right click the desktop, choose New | Shortcut
  - Type:  "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" http://www.mysite.com
  - Name the shortcut what you want
  - Drag it to the Start Menu
  - Pin it (Right Click, "Pin to Start Menu")
