Question : Problem with Audio device
Hello,
We have about a 100 of the Optiplex 620 workstations, in fw of them we are having this issue. We need to record the microphone input on this computer and we noticed that it is not happening on these stations. I went to the control panel and sounds and audio devices and noticed that in the audio default device the selection is "Microsoft RDP Audio Device", there are no other items in the drop down list although in the Systems window and in the device manager I can see the device installed and working properly. I uninstalled the device and reinstalled it with no luck. The device is a "SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio". Any ideas?
Answer : Problem with Audio device
providing you installed all the soundmax software then it should be in control panel.
sorry my mistake on the universal audio driver it is supplied by the OEM and Dell is not providing one for your model
