Question : setting alpha to objects when button clicked

I have 10 images(objects) that are in my movie.  what i want is when you click on one of the images all 9 other images become a very low alpha.  I have tried various ways but nothing seems to work.

Is there an easy way to set this, or maybe a starting point?  Thanks for any help.

the code is for Actionscript 3...  this is the standard version...  so you either need to change to this version in the settings window, or you need to change a ton of programming to make the old way.

I would recommend using AS 3.
