Question : Inactive Add-in
Currently I am running Outlook 2007 and I have various third party add-ins running on my machine. I am unable to change the state of the add-in from Inactive to active in the trust center. Any suggestions?
Answer : Inactive Add-in
Hello whtupdoc001,
You can clear your addins with a command line. With Outlook close, do a search for and rename extend.dat file.
Outcmd.dat is located in C:\Documents and Settings\
\Applicatio
n Data\Microsoft\Outlook folder. It is a hidden file, so you have to unhide hidden files. Go to any folder and select Tools > Folders Options > View. Check "Show hidden files and folders". Click OK.
You may need to reinstall the addin to your computer.
Hope this helps!
