Question : XPCOM is equivalent to COM, how about OCX?

Hi,

In Windows, OCX technology uses COM for programs to call ready-made components.
I heard that XPCOM is a Cross-Platform COM which can be used in Linux. So if I want to achieve what OCX can do (such as Windows IE to call ActiveX control) in linux environment, what is the way to do it?

Answer : XPCOM is equivalent to COM, how about OCX?

The sentence is wrong it should have been "run in the web browser if you program for ..."
