Question : Offline Files Won't Sync
I have a user that uses offline files. He selects a folder within a mapped drive which is connected to the sbs server.
P:\Test\FolderMapped
FolderMapped is made to be made available offline and everything syncs up - he leaves the office and makes changes to the files. When he comes back he is unable to sync any files he modified. (Even after log off log on)
He gets Access to 'test.docx' is denied on \\Server\Test\FolderMapped
.
In addition it appears as if his mapped drive can now only see the directories that were marked as offline. Now by going to the server by IP address he can see all of the files. So it would appear as if it's not reconnecting his mapped drive correctly. But he can still touch/communicate/authenti
cate to the server with no problems. If we try to sync because the server is 'Available for reconnect, 1 modified file(s) he gets the same error I listed above.
Answer : Offline Files Won't Sync
Also as a side note... the share located at E:\Users is auto-mapped as our employee's F: Drive.
F:\Jpreston is the directory he is marking as offline.
