Question : Help getting Xerox 3635mfp printer to work on IBM AIX machine

I just got a Xerox 3635MFP/X multifunction machine.  I want to print to it with our IBM AIX machine.  We have over 100 HP4200/4300 printers and we always use the Generic/Text type printer during the mkrque setup.  I do not have any HP drivers installled, I just use the Generic printer.  I setup a print queue for the new Xerox machine like I always do for the HP printers but it will not print anything.  I can ping the Xerox printer just fine, it just will not print.  Our ERP vendor tells us to always use the Generic setting in mkrque as it will not print forms correctly if you use any other specific printer type (not really sure if this is true but this is what they say).  Does anyone have any experience setting up this model printer or similar to an AIX system?  Any ideas would be helpful.

Check queue with: lpstat -a
Test with: lp -d /etc/motd
Check queue with: lpstat -a

'Name of QUEUE on remote server' for Xerox printers must be lp.  If that doesn't work try RAW instead.
