Question : View announcements on Sub Sites

Hi,

I am the administrator of a group of SPS2007 sites consisting of a global site with 5 sub sites, and various web part pages. I need to be able to post announcements on the global top level site and have them viewable on the sub sites; I am able to do this with web part pages contained within the top level site, however not with sub sites and their web part pages. I have found the same question on EE however there is no solution provided and the originator has not responded since asking the question, can anyone assist with this?

Look at adding the "Content Query" web part on the sub sites.  With this you should be able to have it display items from the top level announcement list.
