Question : Recieving spam using my own email address?

Hello,

I have an Exchange 2003 Server and recently we started taking over the anti spam duties. We use Exchange 2003 IMF and Trend Spam Mail 8.

About once a dayI and other receive email that is sent by us to ourselves. I guess this is called Spoofing?

How do I stop something like this with the programs I have? I don't want anyone spoofing my email address and I sure don't want to keep receiving emails that look like they are from me.

Hi,

I am not sure what SMart Host or Anti-spam product you are using to receive mails.

In any case you got to enable Reverse DNS checks. If you have IIS SMTP then: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/WindowsServer2003/Library/IIS/233c0fde-7315-479a-a7fb-2e9d00ff73fd.mspx?mfr=true
