Question : Moving mailbox to a different server
We are trying to organize our companies mailbox stores. We have two exchange servers running 2003. If I try to move a mailbox using system manager from one store group to another on the same server it works fine. If on the other hand I move a mailbox from one server to the next I get the following error.
-
The attempt to log on to the Microsoft Exchange Server computer has failed. The MAPI provider failed. Microsoft Exchange Server Information Store ID no: 8004011d-0512-00000000
Thanks in advance Experts
Answer : Moving mailbox to a different server
first thoughts are, is the destination store mounted if not mount it? Are the accounts disabled if so enable them.
