Question : Apply exchange 2003 SP2

Need an urgent answer :)

I need to apply exchange 2003 SP2.

Setup
2 servers
- 1 DC/Root (abc.local) =svr1
- 1 Additional DC/ Exchange 2003= svr2

i run the forrest prep and domain prep on svr1. Then run domainprep on svr2 and install exchange 2003 on this server.

now i need to apply SP2 on exchange, do i still need to apply the SP2 on root server (svr1) or only on svr2 server?
