Question : IP Phone Field in Exchange Template is not beeing Saved.

Hi Guys,

I tried to a get the IP Phone Field into our Gal-Temploate this on our System (Exchange 2003, AD on 2003 Servers with Domainlevel 2000 mixed and Forrestlevel 2000).

I was able to change the Schema. After that I can see the Field "Phone-IP-Primary" in the Template Menue. When I create a new Edit Field and click on everythins looks ok (Image 1). But when I open the Template again the Value Field contains a Star instead "Phone-IP-Primary" and when I try to modify it the File Value is "Address" (Image 2) :-(

Becuase of that I do not see anything in this Field at my Outlook Clients (2003).

Does anyone have an Idea?

Answer : IP Phone Field in Exchange Template is not beeing Saved.

I found the reason for the Problem!

In the Value Field for mAPIID I enterd 424242. This number is not a valid Integer Number :-(
I changed it to 50001 and now it is working.

Next hard step will be to find out how to replicate this with MIIS (I guess this will be my next Posting).
