Question : Exchange Server Based Forwarding vs. Client or Rule Wizard based Forwarding

Once a user leaves our company we usually forward there email via the AD Users -> Exchange General -> Delivery Options -> Forward to.  My question is if the user involved has a client based or Rule Wizard based rule to forward email what will happen?  Will the client based forward every execute?  Our desire is that the Exchange forward be the only forwarding that happens.  So if the client does execute how do we disable it?

to be able to access the mailbox from OWA is enough and check the rules from their is enough...   If your not sure or don't have time to check these mailboxes, the fastest thing to do is run the Mdbvu32 Utility  and Remove Inbox Rules... it would be a lost faster to runa script then check a users mailbox each time one departs.
