Question : Understanding Exchange EDB file format.

I was wondering if anyone has experience parsing the EDB files. I know this is in some Microsoft proprietary format. I found links to a few tools that can convert EDB to pst file format. So I'm sure people have figured out a way to crack the EDB.

I'm looking for is if there is any documentation that people know about that exists out there which can be used for writing an EDB parser. It would also be good to know if there are any open source tools that can do this.
