Question : Unable to send emails to Hotmail.

Hi,

We are running Exchange 2007 and all our emails to Hotmail are getting bounced back with the follow failure message:

An error occurred while trying to deliver this message to the recipient's e-mail address. Microsoft Exchange will not try to redeliver this message for you. Please try resending this message, or provide the following diagnostic text to your system administrator.

The following organization rejected your message: bay0-mc9-f1.bay0.hotmail.com.

bay0-mc9-f1.bay0.hotmail.com #550 OU-002 Mail rejected by Windows Live Hotmail for policy reasons. Reasons for rejection may be related to content with spam-like characteristics or IP/domain reputation problems. Additionaly, we have the following SPF record on our DNS server yet the emails are still not being sent to Hotmail.

v=spf1 a mx ip4:76.65.246.142 mx:mail.ship2save.com -all

Any advise would be highly appreciated!

Answer : Unable to send emails to Hotmail.

Just wondering if you put your domain name through the following websites:

www.intodns.com just to verify if your DNS settings are correct and

www.mxtoolbox.com to see if you're not blacklisted.
