Question : Access 2007 Trust Center and a VPN connection

I accessed a 2007 Access database remotely from a VPN connection and the database was corrupted by the connection.  Access attempted to do a Repair but I went ahead and restored the database from the previous day.  Has anyone else run into issues with Access 2007, the Trust Center, and VPN and have you been able to work around this?  (I also was unable to add a drive letter for a remotely connected folder to the Trust Center's trusted locations.)

Boy we just went over this in another thread; Access with a JET backend was never designed to be used over a WAN.  You need another solution.  Here's a link to the other thread where this was discussed:

There is also a hotfix available for some network issues, but really, you should not be running Access/JET over a WAN.  Can't stress that enough.
