Question : No CD Rom Drive

I just bought a new case with a motherboard.  I installed two hard drives, a CD-ROM and a 3.5" floppy. I installed a Matrox millenium pci video card and a Boca 33.6 modem.  I then booted from a Win 95 start up disk, and used the 13 floppys to install Win 95.  Win 95 installed successfully, and the CDRom was recognized.  I then used my Win 98 upgrade CD Rom disk to upgrade the computer to Win 98.  Now it won't see the CDRom drive. I am gonna make this worth 400 points cause I want it solved.  No halfway answers tolerated...
