Question : hwconf and drivers...

does it mean rh7.2 is using a generic driver and thus not getting the full benefit of this chipset??

this is normal description for mainboard's chipset. Your text show desciptions for your processor and AGP controler chipset! On our IBM server we have the same notice for Intel chipset but it does not harm server's perfomance!
