Question : Outlook Web Access asking for Domain\UserName credentials

I have an Exchange 2003 Enterprise Server that is not a domain controller. I have a separate Windows 2003 Enterprise server as a domain controller. The domain is a .local domain. When we use Outlook Web Access it forces us to log in using Domain\UserName.
In the past we had Exchange on a Windows 2003 server that was a domain controller & OWA did not force you to log on using Domain\UserName. We were able to just type the user name.
We can not make the new Exchange server a domain controller, but we would like to be able to log in using just our UserName or even our email address would be ok. Anybody know how to do this?

Thanks.
Jon

Answer : Outlook Web Access asking for Domain\UserName credentials

No worries,

FBA will fix the problem (if you are on SP2) but will require that you use SSL - which to be quite honest, you should be using anyway;
