Question : WinXP classic start menu

Hi, for winxp there is an option to switch between classic start menu interface or the winxp start menu interface. Whenever a new user to to log in, the default interface would be the winxp start menu. Is there anyway for me to change the local policy or maybe modify the registry so that a default interface will be the classic start menu when a new user logs in?

Yes you can use the Group Policy Editor (http://www.wown.com/j_helmig/winxpgpe.htm#theme)

Start->Run
enter GPEDIT.MSC

Under User Configuration->Administrative Templates->Start Menu & Taskbar

You will find "Force classic start menu"

Enable it
