Question : Can't copy files from cd

Hi all

when i put my xp disk not a copy it wont download
some files from the disk, disk is ok can anyone tell me the how to resolve the problem

Answer : Can't copy files from cd

Only two things I know of that causes that problem .

1. Motherboard issues with ram type (some times resolved by a bios Update, you can do that from a dos floppy) or relpace the ram or board.  
2. Faulty Ram, (appears ok until the installer tries to load files into a damaged RAM area, and It thinks the CD-Rom is at fault, making no mentio of any memory error)
