Question : Windows XP Warning: "You chose to install Windows XP on a partition that contains another operating system ..."

Dear experts:

I am trying to re-install Win XP  in my Dell Inspiron 8200.
I re-installed it many times so far, and there was no problem until today.
Today, I followed the routine: Insert Win XP CD -> Format -> Install Setup . .

But I got an unusual message saying:

" Windows XP Pro Setup (on the title bar)
You chose to install Windows XP on a partitiion that contains another Operating system. Installing Windows XP on this
partition might cause other operating system to function improperly. . "

To continue setup, press Enter
To select another partition, press Esc.

After this, I reformated (press F) and deleted all folder in the partition (press L) over and again. The above warning kept coming back.

Hope you experts may kindly help me out!

Thanks!

You can do a low level format. Which brand of hard disk do you have?
