Question : Exchange 2003 message receive limitation problem
|
|
Hi,
i received some complaint from outside the company, that if they send me a larg messages the message can not be delivered to our exchange server because the the message is large or the recepiant mail box is full, but i know that the mail box is not full, so it is delivary issue, i check the delivary options from the active directory, it also more than enough, for example it is comfigured for my mailbox to receive 20MB, but i could not receive 6MB message, i checked also the propereties of the message delivary of the echange, it is 20240 sending and receiving.
so what is the problem ?? and how can also know localy on the server if the exchange refuse the message because of its size?
thanks Saed

I also Suggest you tho check with your outside sender, how about thier organisation limit, may be from their side even limited to 6MB. And also if you have subscribe to any ISP relay service, check with your ISP too.
