Question : Unable to reboot after Centos 5 installation

Hi there,
I just installed Centos 5, the installation went through sucessfully but when I reboot I keep getting a kernel panic error:

I had Windows before and when I installed Centos I chose the option to delete the existing partitins and create a default partitions layout.

I'm not sure where I should start troubleshooting this problem. There are tons of forums about similar errors but none of them have the answer on how to resolve it.

Thanks in advance!

Answer : Unable to reboot after Centos 5 installation

It turns out that I have a dual hard drive and a RAID controller which had to have a special driver downloaded and installed for the Kernel to work with it. Even though the RAID array was configured as RAID 0, the OS was seeing it as 2 drives. I disabled it and installed the OS using a new partition layout, things are working now!
