Question : Symantec update of their AV files

We use Symantec Corp Edition.  Latest DAT files using LiveUpdate are 9/21/05, which is 12 days old.  Symantec says that's the newest ones they have.  It seems pretty slack of the top (or near the top) AV provider to provide updates at anything less frequent than daily.  Has anyone else had experience in getting the automatic updates for SAV to update more frequently? Or is this just standard for Symantec to not keep the files up to date?

Hmm.. I have Symantec AV v9, and the lastest updates I have are dates 9/28/05. maybe if you try again you'll get the new ones.

Symantec seems to release their updates once a week, lately its been Wednesday evenings. I agree that's too infrequent, but there are so many things old and new missed by Symantec (and other AV programs), that I don't count on the AV doing much anyway.
