Question : command prompt keyboard shortcuts

Windows XP Professional:
i need to be able to use Ctrl-C & Ctrl-V within the command prompt and looking for an application which can help me with that. I know how to copy/paste using the mouse but need to do it with the keyboard

I am not familiar with a way to do that in a CMD window. However, a little Microsoft tool that might be useful in some situations where you want to copy and paste screen output is clip. You can export the result to the clipboard using the clip function e.g. ipconfig |clip Then you can Ctrl-V to notepad or any Windows application.
