Question : Emprex camera DSC3380S to work under Linux FC4, possible?

Hi. I recently switched to Linux and still trying to get my old Windblows devices to work under Fedora Core 4. I have an Emprex DSC3380S 3MP little digital camera that i used to use in Windows. The camera, unlike other cameras, doesn't just take pictures and store them in something that looks like a removable storage device. All the pictures, when taken, get saved in raw format and then aparently there is a program that's on the camera that decompresses those raw pictures into jpeg images. The little program that's always on the camera is with .exe extension and i know that one is of no use in Linux. Is there any way for me to still use this camera under Linux? Thanks a lot for any input!!!

Are there raw image files visible when the camera is used as a usb-storage device?   If so, maybe they can be decoded without the program.

But yes, there is a remote chance that wine might run the .exe.
