Please review our service on: http://www.bestpriceeu.com
Yesterday we officially opened up for a new service on the Internet ? www.bestpriceEU.com is a brand new starting point for every European consumer that want price-comparison across the EU to be easy and structured.
Please review our site in regards to: * usability and ease of use * functionality * security * layout * design * performance
The points will be dispersed dependent on the answers. More will be allocated if many users comment...

Perhaps site upgraded over weekend. My popup was in a different language. As others, 90% of time I stop them before reading, and 100% of time I begin site access with irritation at aggravation.
First Page layout not bad, like others. IE5 only uses ~3/4 of window. Slight waste, but concise and not too-oo busy.
Nothing is blinking! Thank you very much.
But the green-on-green, while ok for my eyes, soft, may not be so well for others. Consider 508, color blindness, etc. Usually better to go dark on light or light on dark. (font on background)
Menus: The privacy link is very important - good. But I did not read it.
I tried "desktops", and got the same soft color look, but new ads for Compaq (today) in upper right are too busy/distracting. Like blinkers. Drill down and it is still there. Popular technique of marketeer. Unpopular with me and others I know who actually have to look at screens.
I did not have to scroll a lot, and that I appreciate - the conciseness. I did not take time to check for sufficient details, but they would be essential, if only as (maintained) specific product links (not generic) to IBM or Compaq site (or whatever mfr is behind listed product, only these were available today). For cpu example, I am interested in many pix, from angles, on usability and accessibility, and I want no details hidden.
I tried search, on Presario (given ad), then on Compaq. Not found. The light green background is starting to wane. But I did get some decent good feedback with the error, about search tips, and as above, this is nicely concise. All too often sites place search help all over the place, it is often lengthy and hard to find what is needed.
Lookup on RAM quantity is near useless. All computers have size choice. Graphic capability, OTOH, is more important and varies. 3D. Video Ram (initial and potential). In short, the list of things comparing models should emphasize what is different, not what is same.
* usability and ease of use OK
* functionality OK, so far (where's Compaq?) Bummer on the pop-up, bad taste AND wrong language
* security Dunno, did not pursue
* layout nice, so far, left, right, top, bottom Conciseness appreciated, but ensure I can find specific detail info when desired.
* design nice, comparatively, but revisit colorization
* performance Decent, compared to others like it. Even a little better than most.
