Question : Event ID: 1505 - insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service
I have 2 TS servers with 2 Quad Core processors and 16GB Ram each. Every day, 45 to 50 users connect on each server to work. They are using thin clients.
TS2 runs without a glitch, but TS1 keeps popping up the following message mostly during the afternoon, and when a user tries to log off and then log back on.
'Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service'
Both servers are using about 10GB of Ram, and the processors are somewhere around 20 to 30 percent of their full capacity. So it cant be a resources problem because there are still plenty of them available.
In event viewer I get Event ID: 1505
'Windows cannot load the user's profile but has logged you on with the default profile for the system.
DETAIL - Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service'
I need a solution urgently because TS2 will not be able to handle 50 more users in case TS1 fails.
Please advice.
Thanks
Answer : Event ID: 1505 - insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service
We had this kind of problem on a TS with 4GB RAM when plenty of memory unused, and neaded to tune the user-mode memory space.
