Question : direct draw driver?
While installing a fractal image program, the setup gave me an option to install some sort of direct x stuff, but warned me that doing so would result in a change in my video. So I opted not to have the program install it (it said I could do so later and gave the name of the .exe file, which I forgot but did a search and found no more .exe files anyway except the application itself). When I tried to run the program, I got the error message "direct draw driver needs to be installed." Can you please tell me what this is and where to find it and what it could negatively do to my video display if it's installed? I have a Pentium 133 with a diamond stealth video card and an aoc 17" monitor. Thanks

best bet is prolly to download a directX from MS (www.microsoft.com/directx) and install that, THEN reinstall the fractal.. directX shouldnt mess anything up.. altought some drivers might be "uncertified" but thats ok in most aspects
