Question : I bought 64 bit vista premium

Hi
I bought vista premium 64 bit -- will this load as 32bit ??
I wish i didn't buy the 64 bit --  the program i use -- is made for 64 bit but requires a 64 bit processor?

so is there a way when loading to choose it to load as 32 bit

thanks

Answer : I bought 64 bit vista premium

They are separate DVDs, if you bought the 2 DVD retail pack you'll have a choice if you only got one DVD in the box you can only install the version you bought. If you haven't registered it you could try returning it as the licence agrement says if you don't accept the EULA you should return the disk for a full refund. In practice though that may depend on your retailer.

You might want to try this though:
The is a little known system at Microsoft called Alternate Media. If you have the 32-bit or 64-bit version of any Vista product (including an Anytime upgrade disk) you can get the alternate version of it (32 or 64 bit - whichever you don't have) for just the cost of the media and shipping. It is issued against the CD Key for the version you do have but the total cost inside the US is less than $20

See: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvista/2057/ordermedia/default.mspx
For how to order but I'm not sure it covers 64 to 32 bit OR Premium
