Question : Outlook Moved items back to inbox and they deleted

Outlook was running in cached mode off an Exchange server.

All the emails were going to a personal folder. The emails were moved back to the user's inbox and they disappeared.

Is there any way to recover them?

Outlook 2003 on XP
