Recently a virus was removed fro the computer, now however some folders and files within are unaccessible, The my music folder, and a couple of folders, but not all, in my pictures.
What is odd is that the data is still there but in the case of the pictures they can't be viewed, a message says the header info has changed. I have taken ownership of the files, run chkdsk, repaired the mft, access them using ubcd, checked for encryptionand tried to move them to an external drive all to no avail, they are simply locked - but still there and unviewable.
any ideas???
