Are you setting up your own domain for which you need to provide answers or is this a caching server that you will use to retrieve DNS information?
A DNS server using bind:
bind
bind-utils
bind-libs
bind-chroot
If you are a caching server and want the installation to create the basic set of files need to operate a DNS server:
caching-nameserver
Then update /etc/resolv.conf with the nameserver IP_address of your machine.
