Question : IE7 is no longer a windows update?

This is just a basic question, and I know I can always go directly to Microsoft's web site and download IE7, but I have noticed that over the last couple of days while installing XP on a few machines, IE7 is no longer part of windows update...not even an optional one.  I went to the IE7 home page, and it doesn't mention anything about it being removed from Windows Updates.  In fact, it still mentions that it will be a critical update.  Did Microsoft change their delivery strategy/method for IE7?

Answer : IE7 is no longer a windows update?

I didn't know whether you read that or not.  But, my point is that since they've removed the WGA requirement, it's either going to be supoported a bit differently or it's a screwup on their part that the normal MS bashers will be reporting where MS will fix it and put it back there in WindowsUpdate before long.

I thought there was supposed to be a critical update issued to patch IE yesterday.  But I am sure that, at least on this WinXP PC, no IE update came through, only an Outlook junk mail filter update and that monthly malicious software tool update came through.  But I have not looked at other PCs I have here with other OS versions.
