Question : ORA-00932 - Oracle Linked Table Error because of 'INTEVAL DAY TO SECOND' data type
I odbc in a table from Oracle into an Access file. I can open the linked table, but there is a field that is an Oracle type of 'INTERVAL DAY TO SECOND'. Until I touch this field in Access, access displays the text "OLE OBJECT' as the value. As soon as I touch the records though... Access errors out with 'ORA-00932: inconsistent datatypes: expected %s got %s (#932). Same results in a Pasthrough query. I realize it is probably because the Access doesn't know how or what to convert this Oracle Data type to.. but I need to be able to use the linked table in access. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks
