Question : BMP image quality degrades when exporting to PDF

Hi all,

Please help.

I have a RPT file with an logo at the top.  If I print directly from the Printer, the logo comes out perfectly.  We have a requirement to generate the report in PDF format.  When the RPT is exported to PDF format, the BMP logo becomes very pixelated.

I guess this may have something to do with the way Crystal converts the image to PDF format, which is causing my logo to become unacceptable.

Please advice as to how I can have a better resolution BMP in a PDF output.

I have a VB program which will read the RPT and generate the PDF file automatically to a predefined path. The user does not open the RPT file using Crystal Report Designer.  I'm using VB6 with CR 8.5.

I'm desperate for a solution.

Please help!

Thanks in advance
