Question : Lock User profile

We have a windows 2003 server.  All the students use a generic username to logon to the computer.  How can I setup a Group Policy to redirect the user profile to the read only location so the user can not change any settings for this user account?  The only think i want the users to be able to do is run the application in their computer, I do not want them to be able to not change the volumn, the wallpaper, move icons, save files, etc....

Answer : Lock User profile

Create a profile which has all the necessary settings defined.
Then rename ntuser.dat to ntuser.man, which makes the profile read-only. User can change settings in the session but they will not be saved.
ntuser.dat can be found in the root of the profile folder.
