Question : BIOS

Hi,


I added password to the cmos and disable all portable boot except HDD.  But when I try to boot from safe mode, I press F8, guess what, it asks me when I want to boot from......  *sigh*

any way to block this??  thx

Finally figured out how to get the link directly to the instructions:

Excerpt: "Download latest ASUS BIOS from ASUS WWW ` FTP and rename the BIOS filename to "xxxxx.ROM" (xxxxx represents the motherboard model you used, eg. P4C800 BIOS is named p4c800.ROM), and save the file in a floppy disk."

That was step one under EZ Flash.  Sorry I missed it!  Just rename your downloaded ROM file to match what the EZ Flash is looking for.
